Amazing bikes,,, im 15 and i love them,,, just got my dads old 57. he says it was amazing but his brothers and their sons tore them up so i have to fix it up,,, its still amazint to thing about thought,, its over 50 years old and a new generation and yet kids still love the old days,,, i wish i was born in the 50′s

  18. only the rich kids had schwins where I lived as a kid. the rest of us had kmart or western auto stingray knockoffs. Parents had no problem saying “no” back in the late 60s / early 70s.

    A real stingray made you instantly cool.

  25. Damn..had one of these when I was 14. Both my tires were same size and white walled. Had the 6ft tall sissy bar on it. Had black cloth tape on the handle bars and pushed the bars forward slightly. Then stretched aluminum foil through the spokes. Lightening auto drag flaps on the rear of the frame and finally a car antennae. Man I had to fight a lot to keep that bike from being stolen. I couldn’t take it out of the house sometimes.
